We are often asked by island visitors and AARF supporters "what can I do to help?"

To participate in the work of AARF you need only be as active as your time permits. We always need volunteers to assist in our Fundraising projects or our other committees and subcommittees - Education, Adoption Days, Policies and Procedures, Communications & Membership.

We are always looking for committed volunteers willing to give up 3 hours per week or bi- monthly - whatever you can - to work at the AARF Shelter facilitating adoptions and giving extra tlc to our shelter guests. Training is provided - contact Sally at sallybaumwell@yahoo.com or Suzie at axasuzie@anguillanet.com

We also desperately need "on call" foster homes for emergency situations in which an animal -  usually a puppy or kitten needs extra attention such as socializing.

Additionally we need volunteers willing to transport rescued or surrendered/unwanted animals to the clinic.

If you are interested in any of these activities please contact aarfinfo@aarf.ai

Of course, your monetary donations are the lifeblood of our organization - we could not survive without the donations of the many kind and generous animal lovers that support AARF.

In addition at the clinic, we always need donations of

Towels (used are fine!) to dry our puppies and kittens after their initial flea and tick baths

Newspapers - to line the kennels

Cat & Dog Food  - to feed our feral animals

Litter for our kittens/cats

Crates

Paper Towels

Garbage Bags

Flea/Tick shampoo/spray

Bleach/Cleaning supplies

      Surgical gloves for clean up

Computer/printer/paper/ink

If you are interested in donating any of the items above please contact

The AARF Shelter at 264-476-2731, Morlens at 264-497- 4600 or Suzie at 264-497-8177 or you can drop off your donation from 9 -1 Mon - Fri at the Shelter located at Morlens Veterinary Clinic.

 Thank you!
